A quality, time-proven snap made in Germany for dog leashes. We use them on gauntlets to quickly attach the ends of jesses or swivels to quickly secure your hawk or falcon. We recommend you also hold onto the jesses and not put your entire trust in the snap! It can also be snapped to an anklet grommet when flying without jesses. It is made of zinc-plated rust resistant steel. Periodically, place a drop or two of oil on the moving parts for a perfect snap and hold every time. It comes attached to a 9-inch long x half-inch wide leather thong that easily attaches to your gauntlet's large 'D' ring.
